Privacy Policy — IndieParrot

This policy explains what data IndieParrot collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. IndieParrot is operated by FunnelFix.
1. Data we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service.

We do NOT collect: precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, browsing history outside the app, or any identifier used for cross-app/cross-site tracking.
2. How we use your data
- Provide and operate IndieParrot — authenticating you, gating paid features, sending push notifications
- Communicate with you — service emails (password resets, subscription receipts), responses to your support messages
- Improve the service — debug crashes, understand which features are used
- Comply with law — respond to legitimate legal requests, enforce our Terms
We do NOT sell your data. We do NOT use your data for advertising. We do NOT share your data with brokers.
3. Third parties we use
We rely on a small set of vendors to operate IndieParrot. Each one handles a slice of the data above; none receive more than they need.

For every third party that processes user data, link their privacy policy.
4. Data retention

5. Account deletion
You can delete your account from inside IndieParrot at any time: Settings → Delete Account. Deletion:
- Removes your account row and all linked data within 30 days
- Cancels future communications
- Does NOT cancel an active App Store subscription — you must cancel that separately through iOS Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions before deleting your account, otherwise Apple will keep charging you
If you cannot access the app, email hello@indieparrot.com and we'll handle the deletion manually.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:
- GDPR (EU/EEA/UK): access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, portability. Email hello@indieparrot.com.
- CCPA/CPRA (California): know, delete, opt-out of sale (we do not sell — opt-out trivially satisfied), non-discrimination. Email hello@indieparrot.com.
- Other jurisdictions: we respond to lawful data-subject requests regardless of where you live. Email hello@indieparrot.com.
We respond to requests within 30 days.
7. Children's privacy
IndieParrot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact hello@indieparrot.com and we'll delete it.
8. Content moderation
IndieParrot includes in-app tools to report and block content. We acknowledge and act on user content reports within 24 hours of receipt. For severe reports (CSAM, credible threats), we escalate immediately.
To report content outside the app, email hello@indieparrot.com.
9. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We restrict access to user data to the minimum personnel needed to operate the service. We will notify affected users within 72 hours of any data breach that materially affects them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced through the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
